This is a layout of my lovely friend’s wedding. It was a second wedding for both of them, so they kept it small and completely un-traditional. She wore a dark red dress that I’m sure wedding planners like David Tutera would not approve of, but she looks fab in it and she told me it made her feel beautiful. What more could a girl want on her wedding day?
I started with the Stationary Noted collection from Teresa Collins. I LOVE this collection! And it matched her dress pretty well…
I could not be there with her on that day, and so I included this little sentiment on my page. I am a firm believer in hand written journaling. I did this with a pencil.
This butterfly was made using a punch and then blinging it out with some sparkles from Teresa Collins’ Fabrication line. I also pulled the wire stems off of the flowers and curled them, making a couple of antennae for the butterfly.
This smaller butterfly was made using in the same way. I finished it off by using some gesso to decorate the wings.
These are the flowers that I pulled the wire stems off of. I sprayed them liberally with mists and then dropped some gesso on them.
This red flower is so shabby chic!
I am trying to include more titles on my layouts and their names were great for this because they have the same amount of letters, lol! Of course, you don’t have to be all symmetrical =)
